By JACK LeGWINJalen Hill has decided to stay close to home, and has committed to UCLA. He was considering Arizona and California as well.
One of the top 2017 prospects, Hill is ranked No. 35 in the nation. At 6-foot-8, 200 pounds, Hill was a member of this year’s Team USA U16 squad.
Hill is the second commit for the Bruins in the class of 2017, joining Lonzo Ball’s younger brother, LiAngelo.
“I really didn’t think that I was going to make the decision today, Hill told Evan Daniels of Scout.com. “They spelled out everything I wanted and everything I was looking for in a college. There was no other second place to them. I went with my gut.”
