Kerwin Roach, a 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Houston (TX) North Shore, is off the board to Texas.

Roach, ranked the No. 21 shooting guard in the Class of 2015 in 247Sports composite rankings, also considered Cal and Wichita State.

“Roach is very talented,” one D-1 assistant involved in his recruitment said. “Can get his own shot. Very thin, needs weight. Envisions himself a point guard, but I doubt he is.”

Roach joins Michigan combo guard Eric Davis in Texas’ 2015 class. The two could have major roles in the team’s backcourt beginning then.
