  • JaQuan Lyle to IMG Academy (UPDATED)

    Share Zagsblog Share Zagsblog
Oregon commit JaQuan Lyle is headed to IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL and is expected to arrive this weekend, a source confirmed to SNY.tv.

The 6-foot-5 Lyle could then potentially stay at IMG for one semester or for the entire year.

He was removed from the Oregon roster last month after not being admitted to the University.

Oregon earlier denied admission to 6-9 Canadian power forward Ray Kasongo, who is now enrolled at the College of Southern Idaho.

Three other players — Damyean Dotson, Brandon Austin and Dominic Artis — were booted from the program in May in the wake of rape allegations related to a March 8 incident.

The Lyle news was first reported by ND Kendrick.
