After visiting Fairleigh Dickinson this weekend,
Mike Holloway decided to pull the trigger and commit.
“I just felt comfortable and loved the environment,” the 6-foot-7, 240-pound power forward from Shalick (N.J.) High told SNY.tv. “The team was great, it felt like a home atmosphere and it just felt great.”
Holloway also had offers from Wagner, Canisius, Albany, Niagara, Winthrop, LIU-Brooklyn and Northwestern State.
Said Shalick coach
Eric Cassidy: “Mike is a strong kid who can run the floor. He finishes at the rim, is a strong rebounder and has a high motor.”
“I will be a very high-energy player, very aggressive, play around the basket,” Holloway said. “I’m a post man with 15-foot range and I can also play on the blocks. I will just try to be the best player I can be.”
