Kaleb Joseph, a 6-foot-3 point guard from Cushing (Mass.) Academy, will take an official visit to Syracuse this coming weekend, the Syracuse Post-Standard reported.

“He’s set to go up there this weekend,” Cushing Academy coach Barry Connors told the paper.

Joseph visited Providence this past weekend with Abdul Malik Abu, Jared Terrell and Pascal Chukwu, and is slated to visit West Virginia Sept. 27.

He is down to those three schools.

Still, it remains possible Joseph could commit while on his visit to Syracuse.

Syracuse is about to begin practices for its four-game exhibition trip to Canada, the Post-Standard reported.

The team departs Aug. 20, and plays its first game Aug. 21 against McGill.
