NEW YORK — Tyson Chandler may play for a New York team, but he’s not picking the Giants to win the Super Bowl.

“It’s definitely gonna be the 49ers,” Chandler, who was born and raised in California, told MSG’s Jill Martin before Monday’s game against the Orlando Magic.

Chandler sensed that he might anger some New York fans with his comments, but went for it anyway.

After smashing the Green Bay Packers 37-20 at Lambeau Field yesterday, the Giants will visit the 49ers in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game at 6:30 p.m.

The Knicks play four games in six days this week, but Chandler will have Sunday off to root on the Niners.
