In the latest edition of The Big East Report, Jerry Palm of CollegeRPI.com breaks down the brackets heading into this critical weekend.

Palm currently has all 11 Big East teams previously mentioned in the Big Dance, and has both Pitt and Notre Dame as No. 1 seeds, along with The Ohio State University and Kansas.

He says Duke could displace one of those four if the Devils win the ACC Tournament this weekend, but that Carolina cannot become a No. 1.

Palm also chimes in on the fates of St. John’s post-D.J. Kennedy ACL tear, and Syracuse, UConn and Louisville heading into tonight’s Big East semis.
