    NEW YORK — It should come as no surprise that a basketball lifer like Bob Hurley attended Team USA practice one day earlier this week, soaking up everything he could about Jim Boeheim’s vaunted 2-3 zone and Mike Krzyzewski’s leadership tactics.

    Even at 63, Hurley still loves and respects the game so much that he takes every opportunity he can to add something to his bag of tricks.

    “If you love basketball and you had a chance to do something like this today, you would do it,” Hurley, the legendary coach from St. Anthony of Jersey City, said Tuesday after practice at John Jay College in Manhattan.
