Maurice Harkless, a 6-foot-7 junior wing from Forest Hills (N.Y.) High, has trimmed his college list from 12 to 5.

Harkless told GothamHoops.com that his final five schools are St. John’s, Fordham, Seton Hall, Kentucky and UConn.

“I want to get it over with,” Harkless told the New York Post after scoring 21 points in Forest Hills’ 60-57 loss to Wings Academy on Sunday. “There’s a lot of weight on my shoulders. I want to be able to just play and win games.”

Harkless is due to make his college announcement Wednesday afternoon on SNY.tv.
