  • Butler Returns to Garden State

    West Virginia will open Big East play on the road when it visits Seton Hall on Saturday.
    But for junior forward Da’Sean Butler, it will be a homecoming.
    The 6-foot-7, 233-pound Butler is a Newark, N.J., native who led Bloomfield (N.J.) Tech to three New Jersey Group 1 state championships and the 2006 Essex County title. A first-team All-State selection, he also played in the Jordan Brand Regional Game at Madison Square Garden as a senior.
