Rhode Island senior forward Hassan Martin will miss Tuesday’s game versus Old Dominion and is out indefinitely with a quadriceps muscle injury, the school announced.

Sources said Martin will undergo tests and more will become known on Wednesday.

The senior forward has begun treatment and rehab with the timetable of a full recovery and return to the court.

Through eight games this season, Martin leads the Rams in scoring (16.1 ppg) and rebounding (8.1 rpg).  His 3.9 blocked shots per game average ranks third and his 67.1% field goal percentage ranks 14th, respectively on the NCAA Division I statistical leaders.
