Louisville coach Pat Kelsey continues to make waves in the transfer portal.

The Cardinals on Thursday landed commitments from Wisconsin transfer Chucky Hepburn Jr., one of the top point guards in the portal, as well as former Long Beach State forward Aboubacar Traore.

The 6-foot-2 Hepburn, an Omaha, Neb. native, averaged 9.2 points, 3.9 assists and 3.3 rebounds as a junior for the Badgers.

The 6-5 Traore, originally from the Ivory Coast, averaged 12.0 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.5 assists as a junior.

“If anybody in your right mind told any of you guys that you could go triple your income by doing a different job, you would do it in a heartbeat,” Wisconsin coach Greg Gard told reporters of Hepburn and AJ Storr, who committed to Kansas.

Kelsey and his staff have now added eight players since taking over at the ACC school.

The other additions include Koren Johnson, a sophomore guard from Washington; J’Vonne Hadley, a senior guard from Colorado; Terrence Edwards Jr., a redshirt junior wing from James Madison; and two former Charleston players, junior guard Reyne Smith and freshman forward James Scott.

BYU transfer Aly Khalifa also committed and will redshirt next season.
