CIA Bounce point guard Howard Washington is headed to Syracuse.

Head coach Jim Boeheim made a scholarship offer on Saturday to the Class of 2017 Athlete Institute point guard.

“I grew up loving ‘Cuse and I love the ‘Cuse coaching staff,” Washington told ZAGSBLOG. “And I feel that ‘Cuse fits my style of play and feel as though I can make an impact right. I’m a point guard who can score from three and get to the rim and will lead a team and will do whatever it takes to win.”

Washington is a teammate of incoming Syracuse forward Oshae Brissett.

“Howard’s dream school has always been Syracuse,” CIA Bounce head coach Tony McIntyre said. “He grew up in Buffalo watching the Orange and will now join them for 2017. He fits in the mold of what ‘Cuse runs and will be able to fit in easily.”

Quentin Grimes, the 6-foot-4, 2018 shooting guard from The Woodlands College Park (TX) High School, says Baylor, Kansas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Arizona are the five schools recruiting him the hardest.

“I really like all those schools and watch closely how they let their guards play and run the show,” said Grimes. He has taken unofficial visits to Texas A&M (Oct. 8) and Arizona (Oct. 14).

He has no upcoming visits planned.
