Duke has secured an international standout for the Class of 2027.
Australian guard Luke Paul will play for the Blue Devils in the 2027-28 season, ESPN announced on Thursday.
The 6-foot-6 guard will continue to play in Australia for the 2026-27 season before joining the Blue Devils.
“I want to get to the NBA and be a lottery pick, and I trust in their player development to get me there,” Paul told ESPN. “In saying that, winning a national championship at Duke is the ultimate goal for me.”
Paul is Duke’s second commitment for the Class of 2027, alongside four-star prospect, and brother to standout NBA rookie Kon Knueppel, Kager Knueppel.
