Four-star center Caleb Ourigou has committed to Arkansas, per 247Sports.

The 6-foot-10 big man is ranked the No. 8 center in the Class of 2027. He has committed for 2027 but could opt to announce a reclass decision after Peach Jam.

He chose the Razorbacks over BYU, Kentucky, and UConn, per reports.

“Ourigou has been one of the best bigs in the country this spring and Arkansas needed immediate help up front,” said Adam Finkelstein of 247Sports.

    ESPN’s Paul Biancardi told ZAGSBLOG:

“A strong, physical, mobile, and explosive big who plays with good intensity.

“Scores with his back to the basket, lobs, put backs or with short hard drives.

“Tries to control the paint on the glass and will block shots as a quick jumper.

“He had a strong spring / summer campaign with the Rens and performed very well at Top 100 Camp.

“He was one of the best bigs in the class of 2027. He brings an athletic presence and physicality to the game which will allow him to contribute immediately.

“Arkansas added to its No. 1 recruiting class. It now has a deep, big, and perhaps most athletic team in the country.”
