Colton Crowdis, the 6-foot-4 point guard from Bridgton (ME) Academy, is closing in on a college decision after visiting Marquette this week.
Crowdis is expected to make a decision this weekend, he told ZAGSBLOG.
He was initially considering St. John’s, Providence and Marquette, but says he’s now down to St. John’s and Marquette. St. John’s is not actively recruiting him at this point, sources said.

At Bridgton, Crowdis, a Toronto native, is coached by former St. John’s guard Paris Horne, who played for Norm Roberts at the Big East School.
“I’m a 6’4 point guard that can get a bucket whenever but also make the right read,” Crowdis said. “[I’m a] three-level scorer. I had 14 assists one game and the next day had a 40-point game this season so that shows how versatile my game is. I can also play off the ball with catch and shoots and back door cuts with sneaky bounce waiting to catch a body. Definitely a high-energy and effort guy that just wants to compete and win.”
