Utah State transfer Great Osobor has scheduled visits to Kentucky, Louisville, Texas Tech and Washington, his agent George Langberg confirmed to ZAGSBLOG Tuesday.
Osobor is one of the top transfers in the portal after averaging 17.7 points, 9 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 2.8 assists on 57.7% shooting last season.
The 6-foot-8 forward has been linked with new Kentucky head coach Mark Pope since they met four days ago. The Wildcats recently picked up Amari Williams and a duo of him and Osobor would provide an electric rim-running tandem.
New Louisville head man Pat Kelsey has also been hot in the portal, bringing in six roster additions, including JMU standout Terrence Edwards Jr.
Texas Tech and Grant McCasland have eagerly been rebuilding their roster, adding former Drake guard Kevin Overton and Pitt forward Fede Federiko. Osobor and Federiko would form a great frontcourt tandem with complementing playstyles.
Finally, Washington has had a strong first offseason under Osobor’s former coach Danny Sprinkle. Sprinkle has retained freshman signees Zoom Diallo and Jase Butler while bringing in Rice transfer Mekhi Mason three weeks ago.
