Boston College has landed a commitment from four-star guard Tre Keith, 247Sports first reported on Sunday.
A 6-foot-2 guard from Atlanta, Keith chose the Eagles over Mississippi State, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Clemson and Saint Louis.
He had previously visited Mississippi State and Virginia Tech but after beginning an official visit to Chestnut Hill this weekend, he decided to commit to Boston College.
Keith is considered an old-school styled guard, who’s an above-average shooter and an elite playmaker.
247Sports’ lead scout Adam Finkelstein called Keith’s playmaking and court vision two of his best traits, with the Atlanta native working becoming a more consistent scorer.
Keith is coming off a terrific summer for AE5 on the 3SSB circuit, averaging around 21 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game throughout the summer.
He’s Luke Murray and the Eagles’ first commit in the class of 2027, as the program gets set to enter Murray’s first season in charge.
According to 247Sports’ latest rankings for the class of 2027, Keith is a four-star recruit and ranked as the No. 45 overall prospect in the country.
