It’s early September and Shaheen Holloway is still adding pieces to his Seton Hall roster.

The Hall on Thursday landed a commitment from 6-foot-7 Italian wing Theo Airhienbuwha during his visit to campus.

ZAGSBLOG reported last month that The Hall was in “good position” with the Italian.

Airhienbuwha averaged 14 ppg and 5.7 rpg for Italy in the U20 Eurobasket in July in Slovenia

The Hall expects him to contribute right away because of his size and exceptional athleticism.

He is the second addition for the Pirates this week, following the commitment of Israeli forward Ilay Dolinski.

The Pirates will be without the services of Rutgers transfer Chris Nwuli (family reasons) and likely won’t have Brazilian forward and former G League product Nathan Mariano, who remains at home in Brazil while awaiting eligibility.

Seton Hall is also hosting Class of 2027 Montverde (FL) Academy guard Javion Tyndale, who will trip to St. Bonaventure this weekend following his visit to The Hall.
