Arizona State has secured a top-50 prospect in the 2027 recruiting class.
Four-Star Class of 2027 prospect Carson Crawford will play for the Sun Devils in the 2027 season, he announced via Instagram Live on Wednesday.
“I felt like it’s a great program with the coaches,” Crawford told 247Sports. “It’s a whole new staff, they have a great plan for me and a great program itself, and I think it’s a great fit for me.”
The 6-foot-6 forward chose ASU over Syracuse, Providence, Ole Miss and Florida State.
“They want me to come and be developed, and that’s a big thing,” Crawford said. “They want me to come in there, earn playing time and play minutes as a freshman. It’s a multi-year thing. They want to develop me over the years and build the program.”
Crawford marks the first recruit for new head coach Randy Bennett in the Class of 2027.
