Georgetown center Vince Iwuchukwu will return to the program this season, he confirmed to ZAGSBLOG on Thursday.
Iwuchukwu, a 7-foot-1 center from Nigeria, is seeking a fifth year of eligibility due to the recent injunction allowing members of the class of 2022 to receive a fifth year.
Having spent four seasons at the collegiate level already, Iwuchukwu played two seasons at USC and another at St. John’s, before spending the 2025-26 season at Georgetown.
Appearing in 24 games for the Hoyas last season, Iwuchukwu averaged 11.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game for Ed Cooley’s squad.
With Iwuchukwu set to return, Cooley’s front court has been sured up in what will be a pivotal season for the Hoyas’ head coach.
Iwuchukwu will share the front court with Caleb Williams and DePaul transfer NJ Benson for the Hoyas this season.
