Georgia has landed commit in the class of 2027.
The Bulldogs received a commitment from four-star guard Justin Wise on Friday, On3’s Joe Tipton first reported.
A rising senior at North Oconee HS (GA), Wise chose Georgia over Texas, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Miami and Clemson.
This past summer on the Nike EYBL circuit, Wise competed for the Jet Academy, for which he averaged 11.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game for the program.
According to 247Sports’ scouting department, “Wise is a skilled and heady guard who bases his game mostly around his jumper.”
A tall guard, at 6-foot-4, Wise lacks the length to make him an exceptional athlete, but makes up for his lack of length with his physicality and awareness on the defensive end of the floor.
In 247Sports’ early rankings for the class of 2027, Wise is a four-star recruit and ranked as the No. 63 overall prospect in the class of 2027.
