Arizona has signed Clemson transfer forward RJ Godfrey, who is expected to start in the frontcourt for Tommy Lloyd assuming he’s declared eligible.
The 6-foot-8 Suwanee, GA native averaged 12.0 points and 5.3 rebounds last season on 61% shooting for the Tigers.
He was among the players granted a fifth year of eligibility in the recent Colorado court case, and opted to transfer to the Wildcats, a Final Four team a year ago.
Godfrey joins 6-11 Nebraska transfer forward Ugnius Jaruševičius and 6-10 Idaho State transfer center Evan Otten in Arizona’s new-look frontcourt.
