Four-star guard Jaxson Davis is down to six schools, On3’s Joe Tipton first reported this week.
The 6-foot-1 guard has trimmed his list to Michigan State, Ohio State, Creighton, Iowa, Marquette and Minnesota.
A do-it-all point guard, Davis finished as a top-five player in steals and assists for Meanstreets on the Nike EYBL circuit this summer.
Following his successful summer, Davis has lined up multiple official visits as he prepares for his senior season at Monarch Academy (KS).
His fall visit schedule is listed below:
Iowa (September 19)
Michigan State (October 1)
The Chicago native has yet to announce plans to visit the four remaining schools on his list of six this fall.
In an article by 247Sports’ Sean Bock, the Iowa coaching staff, led by Ben McCollum, have compared the play style of Davis to that of former Houston Rockets guard and two-time NABC Division II Player of the Year Trevor Hudgins, who thrived in McCollum’s system at the Division II level at Northwestern Missouri State.
A member of the class of 2027, Davis is a four-star recruit and ranked as the No. 35 prospect in the country by 247Sports.
