Fordham on Monday landed a pledge from St. John’s transfer Kelvin Odih, per sources.

The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 1.5 points and 1.9 rebounds for Rick Pitino’s team and figures to have a much bigger role at Fordham.

Last August, Pitino said Odih had the highest motor of anyone on the team that summer, including Zuby Ejiofor.

Odih — out of SoCal Academy and the Rhode Island Elite Puma AAU program — was originally committed to West Virginia. He reopened his recruitment after its coaching change and chose the Red Storm in April 2025.”

“Kelvin is a high level athlete whose ability to defend and rebound will help Fordham win games from Day 1, adding his growing skill set,” said coach Nick Light of Rhode Island Elite. “I think he has a major impact on a Fordham team that will turn heads this year.”
