They say Father Time is undefeated, but the NBA’s oldest active superstar, LeBron James, is giving him as close of a fight as he’s ever seen.

Former NBA Champion Meta World Peace is so impressed with James’ longevity, that he thinks his face belongs on U.S. currency.

“I think LeBron’s face should be on the quarter or some other coin or note in currency, Meta World Peace said in an interview with Hard Rock Bet. “What he’s doing is historic. It’s impactful, motivating, and just so positive. So, it doesn’t matter if it’s a quarter, a 50-cent coin, or something else, his face should be on it.That’s how well he’s playing, and that’s how much he’s done for the game of basketball. That’s the kind of respect he deserves.”

James and the Los Angeles Lakers were recently eliminated in the Western Conference Semi-final round of the NBA Playoffs.

At 41-years-old, James led his team in scoring with 23.2 points per game alongside 7.3 assists and 6.7 rebounds.

“He’s not slowing down at all. Right now, he’s coasting. The game is like an easy layup for him.He can do it for another five years,” World Peace continuted “In a few years, he might not be a top-10 or top-20 player, but he’d still be a hell of a role player because he’s still so strong, and he’s so smart. So, if he wants to, he can absolutely play for another five years.”

James is an unrestricted free agent heading into the 2026 offseason. It is unknown whether or not the NBA’s all-time leading scorer will call it a career, stay in Los Angeles or find a different destination to call home for the 2026-27 season.
