Texas has secured an SEC transfer for the 2026 recruiting class.
Auburn transfer Elyjah Freeman will play for the Longhorns next season, he announced on his Instagram.
The 6-foot-8 guard averaged 9.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in his sophomore season with the Tigers.
Freeman will remain in the SEC under head coach Sean Miller. He joins transfers Amari Evans, David Punch and Isaiah Johnson as a member of Texas’ 2026 recruiting class.
