Key matchups in the BIG EAST Conference’s 2025-26 season are being revealed, first reported by Jon Rothstein
Among the headliners is UConn’s December slate, which sees them taking on Butler, DePaul, and Xavier, Villanova head coach Kevin Willard visiting the Prudential Center on December 23rd, and Georgetown hosting St. John’s on New Year’s Eve.
St. John’s and UConn are expected to once again be the powerhouses of the conference heading into the season. St. John’s specifically is riding the momentum of one of the best portal classes in all of college basketball to cement themselves as a preseason top 5 team.
Here are all the matchups set for the BIG EAST so far:
12/13 Butler vs. Providence
12/16 UConn vs. Butler, St. John’s vs. DePaul
12/19 Seton Hall at Providence
12/21 DePaul vs. UConn
12/23 Villanova at Seton Hall
12/31 DePaul vs. Villanova, St. John’s at Georgetown
2/6 St. John’s vs. UConn at MSG
2/25 St. John’s at UConn
