Louisville has added a four-star prospect out of NBA Academy Africa to its 2025 recruiting class.

Four-star prospect Mouhamed Camara will play for the Cardinals next season, he announced on Monday.

The 6-foot-7 forward played basketball in Senegal for NBA Academy Africa, a basketball training center for elite male and female prospects in Africa.

“A competitive spirit, defensive intensity, he’s a terrific teammate, he’s a winner, and he has a good feel for the game,” Camara’s high school coach, Roland Houston, told 247Sports. “Obviously, he comes from the same background asĀ Gorgui Dieng, which the Louisville fans are aware of… He’s just an unbelievable, all-around good person, but he is a tough kid.”

Camara is the third member of Louisville head coach Pat Kelsey‘s 2025 recruiting class. He is joined by five-star guard Mikel Brown Jr and German prospect Sananda Fru.
