Memphis has signed its seventh transfer portal acquisition.

Kansas State transfer Dug McDaniel signed with the Tigers on Monday.

The 5-foot-11 guard averaged 11.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game in his junior season for the Wildcats. Before transferring to Kansas State, McDaniel played his first two college seasons at Michigan.

He will now play for head coach and former NBA All-Star Penny Hardaway. Memphis led the American Athletic Conference with a 16-2 conference record but was eliminated in the first round of the NCAA Tournament by Colorado State.

Memphis has also acquired Saint Mary’s transfer Ashton Hardaway, Western Kentucky transfer Julius Thedford, Temple transfer Quante Berry, McNeese State transfer Sincere Parker, South Carolina transfer Zachary Davis and Ohio State transfer Aaron Bradshaw.
