Baylor officially announces the addition of the son of an NBA Finals-MVP to its recruiting class.

Link Academy prospect Andre Igoudala II will play for the Bears next season, head coach Scott Drew announced this Saturday.

“Andre is a talented player with great athleticism who wants to be coached,” Drew said. “He has a championship pedigree and will fit right in with our Culture of JOY. The Baylor Family will really enjoy getting to know him once he arrives on campus.”

The 6-foot-7 three-star prospect led Link Academy to a 22-9 record on their way to a Nike EYBL Scholastic championship.

He chose Baylor over offers from Arizona and Cal.

Igoudala II will join a recruiting class headlined by Top-10 prospect and McDonald’s All-American Tounde Yessoufu.
