2025 Four-star prospect Trent MacLean commits to Saint Mary’s

Saint Mary’s has secured a four-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class.
2025 Four-star prospect Trent MacLean will play for the Gaels next season, he announced on his Instagram on Wednesday.
Class of 2025 four-star forward Trent MacLean has committed to @saintmaryshoops, he announced via Instagram.

MacLean had previously committed to West Virginia before its coaching change but will now play for Randy Bennett in the West Coast Conference.
The California native is the son of former UCLA standout Don MacLean and will remain in his home state to begin his college career.
Saint Mary’s led the WCC this season with a 17-1 conference record but lost in the second round to Alabama, which went on to play in the Elite 8.
