Indiana’s search for its next head coach continues as Mike Woodson coached what could potentially be his final game for the Hoosiers on Wednesday after being eliminated from the Big Ten tournament.

Oregon defeated Woodson’s team 72-59, and while Indiana remains a possibility to play in the Big Dance, they are not guaranteed to play another game this season after finishing with a 19-13 overall record.

While ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has Indiana remaining in the “Last Four In” slots of the brackets, he also has them dropping behind Xavier, leaving the Hoosiers clinging on to a potential tournament spot.

Creighton coach Greg McDermott is the odds-on favorite to take over as Indiana’s newest head coach, according to BetOnline, which has him at 1/2 (-200). Following him are Ben McCollum, Brad Brownell, Chris Beard, and Will Wade in that order.

Regardless of who will be coming to replace Woodson as he retires, the position will come with the added pressure of turning around a program that has had a disappointing season.
