    The premier name of the 2024-25 college basketball season Cooper Flagg earns the ACC player of the year crown. Here is how the rest of the ACC awards stacked up.

    Rookie of the Year – Cooper Flagg, G/F, Duke
    Defensive Player of the Year – Chucky Hepburn, Sr., G, Louisville
    Most Improved Player – Donald Hand Jr., So., Boston College
    Sixth Man of the Year – Jeremiah Wilkinson, Fr., G, California
    Coach of the Year – Pat Kelsey, Louisville

    Duke’s dominance in the ACC awards list continues this season as the Blue Devils have had a representative on the All-ACC First team in 17 of the past 18 seasons.

    Flagg is the 19th Blue Devil to win the ACC Player of the Year award and only the fourth player in conference history to win both the ACC Player of the Year and ACC Freshman of the Year awards in the same season.

    The ACC tournament tips off on Tuesday at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.
