Alabama has picked up a commitment from four-star guard Davion Hannah, he announced live to 247Sports on Friday.

Hannah — the 6-foot-5, 180-pound guard from Link Academy (MO) and the Team Herro Nike EYBL AAU program — chose Alabama over his other finalists Cincinnati, Missouri and Ohio State.

“Alabama is all about winning,” Hannah said of his decision. “They produce pros every year. They love to win. They love to compete. And the Alabama culture is just one of a kind. It’s just something I wanted to be a part of.”

The guard had a productive summer with Team Herro. Across 15 regular season games, Hannah averaged 14.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. He’s known for his elite scoring ability.

“Davion Hannah is a combo guard that is an elite athlete and can score at all 3 levels,” Link Academy head coach Chad Myers said. “He can also play and really pass it he has great vision and can really process and make reads. He will also be able to step in day 1 and guard all perimeter positions. I think Davion will be able to step in right away and contribute to winning at a high level.”

Nate Oats now has three commits in the class of 2025. Hannah joins a pair of four-star forwards in Amari Allen and London Jemison. But what will he bring to the Tide?

“I’ll do anything to win,” Hannah previously said of his game. “So if I have to go guard the best player, I’ll pick him up full court. If I have to do all the dirty work, I’ll do all the dirty work. If they need me to score the ball, I’ll score the ball. I’m just a guy that plays my role and loves to win. Winning is the most important thing and that’s what I love to do.”

Hannah is originally from Wisconsin. He’s also not the only hooper in his family. Big bro Darius Hannah is playing his fifth-year senior season at Bradley.
