INDIANAPOLIS — Class of 2025 four-star combo guard Isaiah Sealy is planning official to Ole Miss and Texas, likely in June, he told ZAGSBLOG.com in an exclusive interview.

Sealy — the 6-foot-5, 195-pound guard from Springdale High School (AR) and the Team Thad Nike EYBL AAU program — helped his team to a 4-0 record during Session 3. Sealy’s best game of the weekend was a seven point, three rebound outing where he shot 3-of-4 from the field in 11 minutes. Team Thad’s loaded roster defeated Mokan Elite, Team Herro, LivOn and Meanstreets by an average margin of 13.5 points in Session 3.

Sealy updated his recruitment while in Indianapolis, saying Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas have been in contact with him most as of late. Here is his break down of each school:

Oklahoma: Coach [Clayton] Custer, I talk to him. He’s in contact a lot. He’s shown a lot of respect and love to me and my family and I think it’s real good. The visit to Oklahoma was real good. We went to the practice and I like the way they play in transition, all of that.”

Texas: Coach [Byron] Jones, he texts a lot. He said he was going to be here this weekend. He’s in touch a lot. Texas visit wasn’t in season, but the facilities and the campus was real nice. And I like the coaching staff. They’re real nice over there.”

Arkansas: “Arkansas is really nice. They just picked up coach [John] Calipari. I think it’s going to be great for the city for him to be in the city. My relationship with Cal is not very strong yet, but me and [Ronnie] Brewer have a nice relationship and he’s been watching me for a long time.”

Arkansas and Oklahoma were represented by their head coaches in Indianapolis. Coach Jones was in to see Sealy as well.

Sealy said he will be heading to Ole Miss and Texas for official visits “real soon.” He doesn’t know dates yet as he’s still talking with the coaches, but he’s eyeing those visits in June. Sealy said on visits he’s looking for a good coaching staff that’s respectful toward he and his family.

“I just want to have — if I have a good relationship with them I know everything’s going to be fine — but a good campus and all of that,” Sealy said. “Mostly just coaching staff though.”

The combo guard said he’s closest with coach Brewer of Arkansas and coach Custer from Oklahoma. Sealy plans on naming a top seven to ten schools sometime in August after visits.

Sealy is ranked the No. 54 player in the 2025 class per 247Sports and the No. 2 player in the state of Arkansas. Sealy describes himself as a more of a point guard.

“I like to facilitate a lot, catch and shoot and I’m working on my off the dribble a little more,” Sealy said. “Also kind of being a leader doing the little things, helping my teammates a lot.”

Sealy said where he’s grown most from last year is his explosiveness and learning how to burst when he gets to the basket. His favorite NBA player is LeBron James and his favorite TV show in SpongeBob.
