Kolby King is coming back to the East.

The one-time St. John’s guard is transferring to Butler from Tulane, where he spent one season after leaving the Red Storm.

The 6-foot-4 Pompano Beach, Fla., native averaged 10.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists last season at Tulane.

Butler now has eight players officially on its roster: transfers King, Patrick McCaffrey and Jamie Kaiser Jr., and returnees Pierre Brooks II, Andre Screen, Boden Kapke, Augusto Cassia and Landon Moore. Guard Evan Haywood is still the only incoming freshman signed for Butler’s 2024 class.
