Boogie Fland, the five-star senior and former Kentucky commit, is ‘back to square one’ after reopening his recruitment following the departure of John Calipari, he told ESPN’s Paul Biancardi.

ESPN reported that the 6-foot-3 point guard out of Archbishop Stepinac (NY) and the PSA Cardinals has heard from Louisville, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida State, Pittsburgh, St. John’s, Illinois, Providence and Seton Hall. New Kentucky head coach Mark Pope has reached out as well.

Fland originally chose Kentucky over Indiana, Alabama, UNC and Michigan, among several others. Indiana was the presumed second choice.

He helped Team USA defeat Team World at last Saturday’s Nike Hoop Summit, posting 9 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist.
