Brad Underwood and Illinois keep on rolling in the transfer portal. The Fighting Illini now have their third portal commitment of the offseason after Arizona transfer guard Kylan Boswell pledged to Illinois on Sunday.

Boswell — the 6-foot-2, 200-pound guard from Champaign (IL) — averaged 9.6 points, 3.6 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game last season. Boswell, who started in 35 games for Arizona last season, also shot 39.6% from the field and 37.9% from 3-point range.

Boswell attended high school at Compass Prep in Chandler (AZ) but is from Champaign. He was originally a five-star recruit and top-25 prospect out of high school, per 247Sports. In his commitment Instagram post, Boswell stated ‘I’m back.’

The guard will join Mercer forward Jake Davis and Louisville forward Tre White as newcomers from the transfer portal on Illinois 2024-25 roster.
