  • Meechie Johnson returns to Ohio State from South Carolina

    Meechie Johnson is headed back to Ohio State.

    The 6-foot-2 guard announced he will transfer back to Ohio State, where he spent his first two college seasons before spending the last two at South Carolina.

    He averaged 14.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists this past season with the Gamecocks.

    Ohio State recently named former interim head coach Jake Diebler the permanent head coach.
