Jaylen Harrell, a four-star shooting guard in the class of 2025 and the No. 1 player out of Massachusetts, has cut his list to six schools: Alabama, Providence, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Xavier, On3 Sports first reported Thursday.

The 6-foot-6 three-level scorer has taken an official visit to Rutgers and an unofficial to Providence. He has officials to Providence and Xavier set up for early March while planning visits to Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

“Jaylen Harell brings the heart of 10 men where he plays,” Expressions Elite coach Ken Jackson said. “Any program or coach would love to have him. His shooting efficiency and being able to score the ball at all 3 levels separates him from most.”
