A quartet of big-men highlight the AP preseason All-American team, including Purdue’s Zach Edey, Hunter Dickinson (Kansas), Armando Bacot (UNC) and Kyle Filipowski (Duke).

Last year’s Big East Player of the Year Tyler Kolek is the lone guard featured on the All-American list.

Edey, the 2022-2023 National Player of the Year, was a unanimous selection. The 7-foot-4 center averaged 22.3 points, 12.9 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game on 60.7 percent shooting last year.

Dickinson was this offseason’s most sought-after talent. After averaging 17.2 points and 8.4 rebounds across 94 games for Michigan, the 7-foot-2 Virginia native will now try to repeat his success in Lawrence.
