Khaman Maker, a four-star in the class of 2024, has committed to St. John’s, he announced Monday.

The 7-foot -1 Trinity International Schools (NV) product chose the Johnnies over Missouri, Arizona State and UNLV, among others.

“I chose St. John’s University because of Coach Pitino’s passion for the game of basketball,” Maker told On3. “His desire to create a strong basketball culture with the Red Storm is inspiring, and I hope to be a part of it along the way.”

    He added:

“I’m a team player. Someone who always plays with that desire, the drive to win at any costs.”

Maker becomes the third St. John’s commit in Rick Pitino’s class of 2024, joining four-star Jaiden Glover, who committed last Tuesday, and Greek standout guard Lefteris Liotopoulos.
