Alabama will take on Purdue while TCU will meet Clemson in a non-conference doubleheader in Toronto next season, multiple coaches told ZAGSBLOG.

The games are set to be played at the Coca-Cola Coliseum on Dec. 9, per TCU coach Jamie Dixon.

Both Alabama and Purdue won their respective conferences last season and were No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament.

Alabama finished last season at 31-6 overall. The Crimson Tide were able to win the SEC Tournament, but didn’t have the same success in March Madness. Alabama lost to San Diego State — who ended up making the title game — in the Sweet Sixteen.

Purdue ended its 2022-23 campaign with a 29-6 record and Big 10 Tournament crown. The Boilermakers, though, became the second team ever to lose to a No. 16 seed, as their season was ended in the first round by Fairleigh Dickinson.

Alabama center Charles Bediako and Purdue center Zach Edey are both from the greater Toronto area. The two are also both currently testing the NBA Draft waters, but have left the option to return to school open. Bediako has received an invite to the G League combine.

TCU, which finished 22-13, features Scarborough, Ontario native Emanuel Miller.

    Clemson went 23-11.
