Gonzaga transfer Hunter Sallis has committed to Wake Forest.

The 6-foot-5 wing from Omaha, Neb. averaged 4.5 points and 2.2 rebounds as a sophomore for the Bulldogs.

“(Wake Forest) sold me with their great coaching staff and culture,” he told On3.com. “I think it’s a place where we can win some games and also I can improve throughout the year.”

A former top-20 recruit in the class of 2021, Sallis originally chose the Bulldogs over in-state Nebraska, Alabama, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, and Wisconsin, among several others. Wake Forrest did not recruit Sallis in high school.
