Easter Sunday was especially good for new Georgetown coach Ed Cooley.

North Carolina transfer Dontrez Styles and Illinois transfer Jayden Epps both committed to the Hoyas.

A former four-star in the class of 2021, Styles averaged 1.4 points per game for the Tar Heels last season.

“The connection between me and coach Cooley has been great and I trust him,” the 6-foot-6 forward told On3 Sports. “The opportunity is there and I’m ready to go take it and run with it.”

Epps, another former four-star, averaged 9.5 points per game on 41.4% shooting in his freshman campaign with the Illini.

He is one of four Illinois players to transfer out of the program, including R.J. Melendez, Brandon Lieb, and Skyy Clark.
