By CHARLIE PARENT
Former North Carolina star Caleb Love will enter the transfer portal, he announced Monday.
The 6-foot-4 guard averaged a career-high 16.7 points per game last season for the Tar Heels and was paramount in North Carolina’s NCAA Tournament run back in 2022.
Throughout his three-year career at UNC, Love averaged 14.6 points while starting 95 games.
On top of Love, the Tar Heels have also already lost Puff Johnson, Justin McKoy, Tyler Nickel, and Dontrez Styles to the transfer portal.
However, Hubert Davis and co. have hit the portal as well, picking up former Brown guard Paxson Wojcik.
Wojcik averaged 15 points per game last season while hauling in 7.2 boards and just over three assists as well.
The South Carolina native capped off his career with three 20+ scoring games in a row, before ultimately dropping 25 in a loss to Yale in the Ivy League Tournament.
