Former Syracuse guard Joe Girard hearing from Power-5 schools after announcing transfer

Former Syracuse guard Joe Girard has heard from several high Power 5 schools after entering the Transfer Portal on Friday, and he has several in-home visits coming up.
Girard will also test the NBA Draft waters before picking a school to play his fifth season.
The former three-star recruit, who is New York State’s high school all-time scoring leader, averaged 13.2 point per games at Syracuse and 16.4 points per game last season.
The schools that have reached out to Girard thus far include:
Indiana, Pitt, Tennessee, Auburn, Butler, LSU, Florida, Ohio State, Loyola Chicago, Stanford, Clemson, Nebraska, and BYU.
He has home visits coming up will Coach Thad Matta and Butler on Sunday, Coach Jerod Haase and Stanford on Monday, and Coach Matt McMahon and LSU on Tuesday
