13-seed Furman grabbed the first upset of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday when they knocked off 4-seed Virginia 68-67.

Virginia was up two with under 10 seconds to play, but a Kihei Clark turnover led to a last second three from the hero J.P. Pegues.

Two time SoCon Player of the Year Jalen Swanson once again led his team with a game-high 19 points and grabbed 10 boards.

The Paladins will play the winner of 5-seed San Diego State and 12-seed Charleston who tip off on Thursday at 3:25 P.M. on TruTV.
