No. 6 Kansas defeated Missouri 95-67, dropping Mizzou to 9-1 on the season and leaving seven undefeated teams in Division 1.

Kansas junior forward Jalen Wilson led the way for Kansas with a game-high 24 points and 10 rebounds.

Missouri is the third team to lose its undefeated status on Saturday, joining No. 1 Houston and No. 11 Auburn.

Houston fell to No. 8 Alabama at home 71-55 on Sunday, while Auburn lost to Memphis, 82-73, in Atlanta in a game in which Memphis star Kendric Davis went for 27 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.

“I’ve put the loss on me,” Auburn coach Bruce Pearl told reporters. “I was outcoached. We were under-prepared.”

He added: “Their speed and quickness bothered us, so we needed to be bigger, stronger and more physical. And we weren’t.”

No. 3 Virginia (8-0) is one team in position to be the new No. 1 on Monday, as are No. 4 Purdue (10-0) and No. 5 UConn (11-0). Other undefeated teams include Mississippi State (8-0), UNLV (10-0), New Mexico (9-0) and Utah State (7-0)
